AI for dental practices: a calmer front desk
AI for dental practices. New-patient enquiries answered, reminders sent and cancelled slots offered on, so the front desk can look after the patient in front of them.
The first call is free. Prices start from £495 for an audit, £1,500 for a build and £95 a month for support. You own what is built, or I run it for you.
What I can take off your hands
New-patient enquiries answered
Web form and email enquiries get a reply with how to register and your opening hours, even in the evening.
Reminders sent for you
Text and email reminders go out ahead of appointments, with a simple way to confirm or rearrange.
A week, before and after
Where the time goes in a typical dental practice week, and what it could look like with the admin handled.
| The job | Now | With automation |
|---|---|---|
| Answering new-patient enquiries | Wait until the next morning | A reply the same evening |
| Appointment reminders | Phoning round | Texts and emails go out, replies noted |
| Filling cancelled slots | Ringing down a list | Offered to a waiting list |
| Answering the same questions | Opening hours and how to register, again and again | Answered from your own information |
| Seeing the week ahead | Checking the diary | A short Monday summary |
How AI helps a dental practice
A dental front desk is busy in person and on the phone at the same time. New-patient enquiries wait, reminders get done when there is a gap, and a cancelled slot is often found too late to fill.
The first win is the enquiry. Someone asking about registering or opening hours gets a reply in minutes, even in the evening, and the details the team needs are collected for them.
The second is the diary. Reminders go out by text and email, confirmations come back to the front desk, and a cancelled slot can be offered to a waiting list.
It does not give clinical advice, and anything it cannot answer from your own information goes to your team. Patient details are sensitive, so I keep what the AI sees to what the job needs, and you stay responsible for compliance.
Where most dental practices start. Illustrative, not a client result.
Example project
A two-dentist practice with a part-time receptionist
Before
The phone rang through the day while the receptionist was with patients at the desk. New-patient enquiries sent by email or web form waited until the next morning, and missed appointments left gaps in the diary that were hard to fill at short notice.
What could be built

- Appointment reminders go out by text and email, with a simple way to confirm or ask to rearrange
- Cancelled slots are offered to a short waiting list, and the front desk sees who has said yes
- A Monday summary of enquiries received, missed appointments and gaps in the week ahead
Could save
About 6 hours a week
Could free up around 6 hours a week at the front desk, and help fill more cancelled slots.

3 weeks
Questions people ask
Is this for a small practice?
Yes. A practice with one or two dentists and a small front desk team is exactly who I build for.
Will it replace my receptionist?
No. It takes the repeat messages and reminders, so the front desk can spend more time with patients.
What does it cost?
Prices start from £1,500 for a build, and you get a written quote before I start. See the pricing page, or ask on a free call.
Does it work with our practice management system?
I can connect Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and the other tools I work with, and most systems that can send and receive email or data. Tell me what you use on the first call and I will say whether I can connect it before you spend anything.
Will it give clinical advice?
No. It answers practical questions from the information you give it, such as opening hours and how to register, and passes anything clinical to your team. Clinical decisions always stay with the dentist.
How are patient details handled?
Patient details are sensitive, so I keep what the AI sees to the minimum a job needs. Data is stored in the UK and the AI processing runs through business API accounts hosted in Europe. I put in writing which tools touch your data before you agree to anything. You stay responsible for compliance.
Do you sign a data processing agreement?
Yes. I'll sign a data processing agreement if you need one. I also hold professional indemnity insurance.
How it is delivered Your choice.
I build it in your own n8n, Make or Zapier account and hand it over with written instructions. The accounts are in your name. Run it yourself, or add support from £95 a month.
I host and manage it for you on a monthly care plan. You do not have to look after any of it, and I deal with it if something stops working. The monthly amount is in your quote.
