Reports
Know your numbers without building the report
Sales, jobs, cash and leads pulled together and sent to your inbox or phone each week, with a plain-English note on what changed.
In short
Figures from your accounts, CRM and booking system are pulled together automatically. You get a short summary each week, and an alert when something needs attention.
Works with
- Xero and QuickBooks
- Google Sheets
- HubSpot
- Shopify
- Booking systems
- Email, Slack, Teams or WhatsApp
What it takes off your plate
The numbers that matter to you, every Monday morning, with a short note on what went up, what went down and why.
Cash running low, invoices overdue, a quiet week for enquiries: a heads-up while there is still time to act.
Figures from separate systems are joined up, so you stop flicking between apps to see how the business is doing.
Ask how March compared with last year, or which jobs made the most, and get an answer with the figures behind it.
An example. Illustrative, not a client result.
Example project
An online gift shop run by a couple
Before
Sales, stock and customer emails were spread across Shopify, a spreadsheet and two inboxes. Working out how the week had gone took a whole evening.
What could be built
- A Monday email with sales, best sellers, low stock and anything unusual, in plain English
- An alert when a popular item is about to run out
- Customer emails sorted overnight, with "where is my order?" replies drafted from Shopify
- Everything in one shared spreadsheet that updates itself
Could save
About 3 hours a week
Could free up around 3 hours a week, and spot problems sooner.
Example cost
£2,200 to build, then £95 a month
Time to build
1 to 2 weeks
How it works
We pick the numbers
The handful of figures you actually make decisions on.
I connect your systems
And check the totals match what you see today.
Your first report arrives
Then we tweak what it shows until it is genuinely useful.
What I'll need from you
To get started
- Read-only access to the systems your numbers live in
- The five or six figures you actually make decisions on
- Last month's figures, so we can check the totals match
- Where you want the report: email, phone or Teams
Don't worry if you don't have all of this. We work it out together on the first call.
What it could cost
A weekly report usually costs £1,500 to £2,500 to build. Extra alerts can be added later.
You get a fixed price before anything starts, and you pay any software subscriptions directly.
Questions people ask
Do I need a dashboard?
No. Most owners prefer a short message they will actually read. If you want a dashboard as well, that can be added.
Where do the figures come from?
Straight from the systems you already use, such as your accounts package, CRM or booking system, so there is nothing extra to keep up to date.
Can AI get the numbers wrong?
The figures are calculated directly from your data, not guessed. AI only writes the plain-English summary of them, and it shows the figures it used.
How often can it run?
Weekly suits most businesses. It can be daily, monthly, or only when something crosses a line you set.
What happens if something breaks?
With support, I fix it, usually the same working day. Without support, you have the instructions, and I can fix it at a fixed price.
Do I own what you build?
Yes. It runs in accounts in your name, and you get the documentation. You are never locked in to me.
What’s the one job you’d
like off your list?
